Death Toll From Massive Attack On Kyiv Rises To Two, 56 Injured

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported this on Telegram.

“The death toll from the enemy's massive attack on the capital has risen to two,” Klitschko said.

There are now 56 people injured as a result of the enemy's attack on the capital. Thirty of them are being treated in city hospitals, including two children.

As the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office clarified on Telegram, the deceased are an 86-year-old and a 44-year-old woman. Among the injured are a 15-year-old boy and a 12-year-old girl.

Under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission by Russian military personnel of yet another war crime resulting in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of May 24, during a massive airstrike by Russian forces, various districts of Kyiv were hit by strikes and falling debris, fires broke out, and one fatality and 44 casualties were reported, including two children.
