Qatar, Nigeria Discuss Strengthening Energy Cooperation

Doha, Qatar: The Minister of State for Energy Affairs HE Saad Sherida Al-Kaabi, met today, May 21, 2026, in Doha with the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, HE Ekperikpe Ekpo, to discuss cooperation in the energy sector.
According to a statement shared on social media, the two sides reviewed bilateral energy relations and discussed opportunities to further strengthen cooperation between Qatar and Nigeria in the energy sector.
