Kremlin Says Russia Ready For Negotiations To Restore Relations With EU
Moscow, May 17 (Petra)-- Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced on Sunday that Russia stands ready to enter into negotiations with European Union member states with the aim of restoring bilateral relations.
Speaking during a press conference, Peskov stated that there is a distinct possibility for negotiations to take place between Russian President Vladimir Putin and EU leaders.
The Kremlin spokesperson noted that Moscow hopes a pragmatic approach toward negotiations will ultimately prevail within Europe. He emphasized that such a diplomatic shift would be positive and mutually beneficial, reaffirming that the Russian side remains fully prepared to engage in the process.
