Russian Attacks Cause New Power Outages In Six Regions
“As a result of enemy attacks on energy infrastructure facilities, as of this morning, users in the Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia regions are without power. Emergency repair work has already begun wherever safety conditions permit,” the statement reads.
Due to rain and strong gusts of wind, six settlements in the Ivano-Frankivsk region were completely or partially without power as of this morning. Repair crews from the regional power company have already begun restoring damaged power lines.
As of 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, electricity consumption is 6.1% higher than the previous day. This is due to cloudy weather across nearly all of Ukraine, which reduces the efficiency of residential solar power plants.

Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances as much as possible from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.,” the power system operator emphasizes.
As previously reported, no electricity consumption restrictions are planne in Ukraine on May 13.
