Ashghal Completes 47 Pedestrian Crossings
Doha, Qatar: The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced the completion of 47 pedestrian bridges and tunnels across Qatar to enhance road safety and ease pedestrian movement.
In a post on X, Ashghal said the projects were carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Transport and span key corridors and densely populated areas, including Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor, Al Furousiya Street and the Corniche, as well as West Bay, Muaither and Al Markhiya.
The projects also cover major gathering points such as shopping malls, stadiums and sports facilities, targeting high-traffic areas.
