Dr Courtney McLean is a Research Fellow in the School of Psychological Sciences at Monash University. Courtney completed her PhD at Monash University in 2023 which focused on understanding the contentious and complex relationship between eating disorders and vegetarian and vegan eating behaviours. Courtney completed a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at La Trobe University and assisted with the government funded Evaluation of the Eating Disorders Medicare Benefit Schedule Items 2024 Report.

Courtney's current work explores eating disorders and disordered eating, examining how diet culture and dieting practices influence people's relationship with food, body image, and health.
