Robotics And Satellite Communications: Joint Venture Agreements Signed At Ukraineeu Business Summit
Under the deal, the partners will continue establishing UASAT, a joint venture in Ukraine to provide sovereign dual-use satellite communications. The first satellite is scheduled for launch in autumn 2026 to provide feedback for planning further steps.

The partnership will establish two joint ventures. One, located in France, will focus on developing and producing defense robots based on battlefield experience in Ukraine, including logistics and medical evacuation (MEDEVAC). These robots will serve the French armed forces and, with donor support, be supplied to Ukrainian forces.
The second joint venture, based in Ukraine, will concentrate on civilian robotics for safety applications. It will provide technical maintenance, personnel training, and gradual localization of component production to strengthen the European supply chain. In the long term, this venture will support the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES).
As reported earlier, the Ukraine–EU Business Summit opened in Brussels on April 22.
