Rainfall, Flash Flood Forecast In 11 Provinces

KABUL (Pajhwok): The Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Aviation has forecast relatively heavy rainfall and possible flash floods in 11 provinces of the country.
According to the department, the provinces of Nuristan, Kunar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kapisa, Panjshir, Parwan, Baghlan, Samangan, Kunduz and Badakhshan are expected to receive rain on Sunday.
Rainfall between 10 and 20 millimetres has been forecast in different parts of these provinces.
The department also predicted strong winds with speeds of 50 to 70 kilometres per hour in the central and south-eastern provinces.
