Sonu Nigam Sells Karjat Land Parcels For THIS Whopping Amount Check Here

Playback singer Sonu Nigam is in the spotlight for his latest real estate move, having sold multiple land parcels in Karjat near Mumbai. The quiet transactions reflect the area's growing property appeal

Sonu Nigam has completed the sale of over 1.9 hectares of land in Karjat, located in Raigad district. The deals, valued at ₹1.95 crore, were executed through four separate transactions.

The parcels included:

0.405 hectares for ₹50 lakh

0.718 hectares for ₹75 lakh

0.607 hectares for ₹50 lakh

0.208 hectares for ₹20 lakh

All transactions were registered on April 7, 2026, with a total stamp duty payment of ₹11.70 lakh. The properties are situated in Savele village within Karjat taluka.

Karjat, part of Maharashtra, is increasingly being seen as a future growth zone under the“Mumbai 3.0” vision. Its appeal lies in improved infrastructure and strategic connectivity to key parts of Mumbai.

The region is gaining traction among buyers looking for second homes and long-term investments. Proximity to the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport and connectivity via projects like Atal Setu have significantly boosted its profile. Travel time from major city hubs ranges between 90 to 180 minutes, making it a viable getaway destination.

This isn't the only real estate activity linked to the Nigam family. In 2025, Sonu Nigam leased a commercial property in Santacruz East for five years, with a rental value exceeding ₹12.61 crore.

More recently, in February 2026, his father Agam Kumar Nigam purchased a 1,197 sq m land parcel along with a residential-commercial structure in Madh Island for ₹10 crore.

These transactions highlight a steady and strategic engagement with Mumbai's evolving real estate landscape.
