Russians Shell Zolochiv In Kharkiv Region, Injuries, Damage Reported

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) This was reported by the Kharkiv Regional Police on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

“At noon on April 9, Russian troops struck the settlement of Zolochiv with a multiple launch rocket system. A fire broke out at the site of the shelling. Two women aged 68 and 72 were injured, as well as three children – a 14-year-old girl and boys aged 13 and 16,” the statement reads.

According to police, the 68-year-old woman was hospitalized, while the other victims sustained minor injuries.

Eight residential buildings, outbuildings, and a garage were damaged in the settlement.

Criminal proceedings have been launched under Article 438 (war crimes) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

As reported, on April 8, one person was killed and three others were injured in the Kharkiv region as a result of Russian strikes. In particular, on a highway near the village of Chornohlazivka in the Zolochiv community of the Bohodukhiv district, a drone strike on a car injured two men aged 42 and 61.
