KP Govt Rolls Out Monthly Fuel Subsidy For Bus, Truck, And Van Owners

(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has decided to launch the“Ehsaas Fuel Support Scheme” for commercial vehicle owners, under which a monthly subsidy will be provided for petrol and diesel.

According to the Transport Department, owners of public buses will receive PKR 100,000, owners of large vehicles PKR 80,000, and truck owners PKR 70,000 per month. Mini-bus owners will get PKR 40,000, and van owners PKR 35,000 per month as a subsidy.

The application process for this scheme has been made completely digital, and applicants can register from home through the“Dastak” app.

During registration, it is mandatory to provide CNIC and vehicle details, while biometric verification will be completed through the e-Sahulat service.

Approved applications will be forwarded to the Excise Office for further processing. The Transport Department stated that this scheme will provide relief to commercial vehicle owners from the rising fuel prices and make daily business operations easier.
