As a PhD Candidate in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (Health Promotion) at Western University, my program of research involves exploring the healthy development and adaptation of equity-denied populations, including children and families who have experienced trauma and adversity. As an equity researcher, my methods are grounded in an intersectional lens wherein I focus on how the various mechanisms of marginalization impact health and wellbeing.
