Paris Hadfield

Dr Paris Hadfield (she/her) is a Research Fellow in Human Geography in the School of Social Sciences at Monash University. Paris has expertise in how social justice is impacted and enabled by sustainability transitions in the built environment. Her current research focuses on local governance and financing of climate resilient home retrofit in Australia. Her research also investigates how inter- and transdisciplinary sustainability research is implemented internationally in response to global challenges. Paris completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne, funded by the CRC for Low Carbon Living. Her PhD thesis examines urban experiments in renewable energy procurement, lending, and co-ownership in Australia, the UK, and Sweden.
