Air India, Indigo Issue April 2 Advisory: UAE Flights Resume, Dubaiabu Dhabi Routes Partially Operational
Air India and its low-cost arm Air India Express said they would jointly operate 34 flights-both scheduled and non-scheduled-connecting India with West Asia on Thursday.
“Air India and Air India Express will together operate 34 scheduled and non-scheduled flights, to and from the West Asia region on 02 April 2026.”
A significant portion of these includes UAE-bound services.
“This includes 18 non-scheduled flights to and from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), subject to availability of slots and other prevailing conditions at the departure stations at the time.”
The airline noted that these operations are being conducted with necessary regulatory approvals.
“These flights are being operated with the requisite permissions from the relevant Indian and local regulatory authorities in the UAE.”
Key destinations such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi are among those seeing partial restoration of connectivity, while operations to cities like Jeddah and Riyadh remain contingent on evolving conditions.
