Will Glovinsky is a Research Assistant Professor of Humanities at Binghamton University, where his scholarship focuses on 19th-century British literature, culture, and radical history. Before arriving at Binghamton, he completed his Ph.D. at Columbia University. His current research explores how the idea of universal basic income – giving cash regularly to everyone – emerged in 18th- and 19th-century tavern ballads, dialogues, essays, and novels.
