Lowri is an Honorary Senior Lecturer in Psychological Interventions at the University of Central Lancashire. Lowri's area of interest is in Positive Psychology and the Science of Happiness.

Lowri is passionate about increasing awareness around mental health and wellbeing issues and is delighted to be leading the first Wellbeing Coaching Pathway within our Counselling, Coaching and Psychological Wellbeing practitioner BSc Hons course.

Lowri is an experienced teacher and facilitator of learning and enjoys creative and innovative approaches to teaching and learning.

Lowri is an experienced module leader on the Promoting Psychological Wellbeing Postgraduate course that prepares trainees for working within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Services. She has also developed Mentoring and Coaching training for outside agencies and regularly contributes to the work of UCLan's Leadership Hub within the School of Business and Enterprise.

Lowri describes the most fulfilling part of her role is the time she dedicates to student's growth and wellbeing. Lowri works alongside the student wellbeing service offering Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy, she is also active in arranging wellbeing groups and events within the School of Community Health and Midwifery and across the campus. Lowri also runs a number of workshops for staff and guests at the university.

Lowri is also involved in a collaborative project with Guild Lodge Forensic Hospital and Skylark Rehabilitation Unit. They work alongside the BSc Counselling, Coaching and Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners students to produce an art exhibition dedicated to raising awareness around mental health.
