QPC Condemns Continued Iranian Aggression Against Qatar

Doha, Qatar: The Qatar Press Centre has renewed its strong condemnation of the continued Iranian attacks against the State of Qatar, following the announcement by the Ministry of Defence that the country's airspace was targeted Saturday, by drone attacks, which the armed forces successfully intercepted and handled with high efficiency.

The Centre affirmed that these attacks, involving the use of ballistic missiles and drones, constitute a blatant violation of national sovereignty, a direct threat to the country's security and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation that undermines regional stability.

It further stressed that targeting vital infrastructure sets an extremely dangerous precedent, warning of wide-ranging humanitarian and economic consequences. The Centre commended the readiness and vigilance of the armed forces, praising the bravery of their personnel, and expressing appreciation for the efforts of the Ministry of Interior in maintaining security and countering rumours.
