Two More Apartment Buildings Restored In Borodianka
"In the town of Borodianka in the Kyiv region, the restoration of two additional apartment buildings on Parkova Street has been completed. The work was carried out within an experimental project for the comprehensive recovery of settlements affected by Russia's armed aggression," the statement said.
The restoration works included not only repairing damaged structures of the two nine-story buildings, each with 72 apartments, but also a full-scale modernization of the buildings and surrounding areas. This included facade insulation and finishing, renovation of common areas, replacement of damaged windows and doors, electrical panels, installation of lightning protection systems, and solar panels to ensure energy autonomy.
Work is currently ongoing to restore roads in the settlement, install local wastewater treatment facilities, and upgrade street lighting. Plans also include modernization of utility infrastructure – sewage, electricity and gas supply, communications, and fire safety systems – tailored to the needs of the community.
