After the Israeli and US attacks on Iran, a large number of Pakistani pilgrims and students have returned home, while those still in Iran have shared important details about the current situation.

According to sources, the return of pilgrims from Iran has accelerated in recent days.

Haji Gulfam Hussain from Kurram district said that most of the pilgrims who traveled with him had already returned to Pakistan by air before the attacks, while others came back via the Taftan border.

Female students Bibi Maryam and Shireen Bibi, who were pursuing MBBS studies in Iran, said they had completed a Persian language course in Qazvin and had enrolled in a university. However, due to the recent attacks, they had to leave their education unfinished and return home.

According to Shireen Bibi, as the intensity of the attacks increased, students were instructed to return immediately with limited belongings and were transported to the Taftan border through government-arranged vehicles.

The students said that at the Pakistan House established at Taftan border, free accommodation and food were provided for pilgrims, along with free transport from Taftan to Quetta and then to Islamabad.

Bibi Maryam expressed hope that peace would soon be restored in Iran so they could resume their education. She added that despite the attacks, daily life in Iran largely continues, with markets open and business activities ongoing.

Hafiz Muhammad Asif, a freelance journalist from Skardu studying at Madrasa Al-Mustafa in Qom, said that despite the bombardment, public morale remains high. He noted that unlike in many war situations, there has not been an unusual increase in prices of essential goods in Iran.

He further said that some shopkeepers and vegetable vendors have even announced free supplies for those in need, which is a commendable step. According to him, people had already stocked up on essential items in anticipation of possible tensions, reducing difficulties.

Meanwhile, Maulana Shabbir Muhafizi, also studying in Iran, claimed that around 200 schoolgirls were killed in a bombing of a school, after which educational institutions were closed, and students are now waiting for academic activities to resume.

Maulana Aman Jafri, who has been living in Iran for several years, said that the Iranian nation considers martyrdom an honor, which is why public morale remains strong despite the bombardment.

He added that if Muslim countries support Iran, tensions in the region could decrease and Israeli aggression could be effectively countered.
