Explosions Shake Tehran Amid US-Israel Attacks

(MENAFN) A series of blasts were reported across Iran’s capital as attacks by US and Israeli forces continued, according to reports on Sunday.

Explosions were heard in multiple areas of Tehran, while other cities such as Isfahan, Tabriz, and Qom were also struck during overnight operations, as stated by sources in Iran.

The region has remained on high alert since February 28, when Israel and the US began an offensive against Iran, resulting in more than 1,300 deaths to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.

In response, Iran has carried out missile and drone strikes targeting Israel, as well as countries including Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf states hosting US military assets. These retaliatory actions have caused casualties, damaged infrastructure, and disrupted both global markets and aviation.
