Israeli Drone Strike Murders Two People in Gaza

(MENAFN) According to reports, two Palestinians were murdered in a drone strike carried out in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza early Wednesday, in what medical sources described as a breach of the ongoing ceasefire.

In a separate incident later the same day, four additional Palestinians, including three children, were injured when a strike hit tents sheltering displaced individuals in the al-Mawasi area located west of Khan Younis, as stated by medical sources.

Reports indicate that Israeli forces have continued conducting daily operations that are described as violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 10. These actions have reportedly resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries, based on data attributed to health authorities, with figures updated as of March 18.

The broader conflict traces back to the genocide that began in October 2023, which has led to extensive casualties among Palestinians and widespread destruction of civilian infrastructure across Gaza. According to reports, tens of thousands have been killed, many more injured, and a significant portion of residential and public infrastructure has been severely affected.
