In a virtual interaction with Mexico's Secretary of Economy Marcelo Ebrard, Goyal discussed avenues to deepen bilateral economic engagement, boost trade and investment, and enhance industry collaboration to unlock new business opportunities between the two countries, reported ANI.
In another virtual meeting, Goyal engaged with Greece's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Harry Theoharis, where both sides explored ways to enhance cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and maritime connectivity, reaffirming the growing partnership between India and Greece.
Industry Interactions Focus On Innovation And Supply Chains
The minister also met Patrik Jonsson, Executive Vice President and President, Lilly International, to review Eli Lilly and Company's growing presence in India.
The discussions focused on the company's expanding investments and the broader 'Make in India for the world' initiative, aimed at strengthening India's role in global value chains.
Separately, the minister held discussions with Aadit Palicha, Co-founder and CEO, Zepto, focusing on strengthening skilling initiatives, promoting innovation-led entrepreneurship, and building globally competitive enterprises.
The interaction also highlighted the need to integrate farmers into modern supply chains to improve market access and value realisation.
The engagements come amid the rapid expansion of India's startup ecosystem and ongoing efforts to deepen international economic partnerships, positioning the country as a key hub for trade, investment and innovation.
