Special Number Plate Auction In KP Faces Setback As Bidders Step Back
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, several successful bidders withdrew from the special vehicle number plate auction held on February 14 due to failure to make payment within the stipulated time.
The Excise Department stated that the bid securities of Dawar1, Waziristan1, and Bajaur1 bidders were forfeited.

According to the Excise Department, the winning bid for Dawar1 was PKR 175 million, Waziristan1 PKR 40.6 million, and Bajaur1 PKR 33.5 million.
Each successful bidder had submitted PKR 100,000 as security to participate in the auction.
The successful bidders were required to pay the full amount through cross-check at the time of bidding.
The department forfeited the bid security when the payment was not made within the specified period.
