Awqaf Ministry Issues Announcement Regarding Eid-Al-Fitr Prayers

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Awqaf (Endowments) and Islamic Affairs released a statement announcing that the Eid Al-Fitr prayer for the year 1447 AH will be held "inside closed mosques" across the State of Qatar,

The Ministry stated that this came "in order to ensure the safety of worshippers," adding that the Eid prayer will be held at 5:53 AM.

Awqaf Ministry said that a list of mosques that will hold the Eid-Al-Fitr prayer will be announced at a later time.
