Tourism Ministry Hosts Workshop On National Inclusive Tourism Strategy

Amman, March 18 (Petra) -- The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized an introductory workshop on the National Inclusive Tourism Strategy in cooperation with the Higher Council for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, with participation from representatives of the public and private sectors. The workshop aimed to present the strategy's key components and implementation mechanisms within a national framework to develop a more inclusive and accessible tourism sector.
The workshop reviewed plans to enhance the readiness of tourist sites and facilities and improve service quality in line with global best practices, ensuring that persons with disabilities, the elderly, and families can access an easy and enjoyable tourism experience. It also emphasized the importance of institutional partnerships in supporting implementation and developing infrastructure.
The event included an interactive discussion during which participants provided practical suggestions and observations to strengthen the application of the strategy and reinforce Jordan's position as a tourism destination accessible to all.
