British Airways Extends Middle East Flight Suspensions Through May
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency)
London, March 17 (Petra) -- British Airways announced that it will continue suspending flights to the Middle East until the end of May, including destinations in Amman, Bahrain, Dubai, and Tel Aviv, while flights to Doha have been canceled until April 30.
The British newspaper The Independent quoted a company statement saying the decision was made "due to ongoing uncertainty in the region and instability in the airspace," noting that the airline is closely monitoring the situation and offering alternative options to affected passengers.
The report added that the suspension comes amid continued global air travel disruptions following the conflict involving Iran, which led to closures of major hubs in Dubai, Doha, and Abu Dhabi, with many international carriers suspending flights.
