I am a genetic epidemiologist and have both a medical degree and PhD. I have published 327 scientific papers since 1990 covering a wide range of topics including genetics of allergic disease and asthma, various cancers, phenotypes such as skin, hair and eye colour, as well as statistical methods for analysis of genetic data. I have been principal investigator on multiple grants from Australian and US funding bodies. Most of my work has been at the Genetic Epidemiology Laboratory at QIMR Berghofer, but I have collaborators from many other laboratories.
