Ali Nazemi is an associate professor in the Department of Building, Civil, and Environmental Engineering at Concordia University in Montreal. His research combines hydrology, hydroclimatology, statistics and mathematical modeling to examine how climate variability and change impacts water security, ecosystems and infrastructure. Nazemi co-chaired the Global Energy and Water Exchanges (GEWEX) Hydroclimatology Panel, an international research network studying climate-land-water interactions from 2020 to 2025.
