Matt Barr
- Senior Lecture in International Relations, Nottingham Trent University
Matt Barr is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at Nottingham Trent University who teaches the core undergraduate theory modules on International Relations and Security Studies, with a focus on the Middle East (and Iraqi history in particular). His PhD is on the construction of Britain's foreign policy regarding the 2003 Iraq War, having previously worked for various humanitarian NGOs, including in Iraq at various points between 2001-2013.
Matt previously taught Public Policy at the University of Cambridge having received his PhD from the University of Southampton in 2015. He also worked alongside the Cholera Team at the World Health Organization as part of the Global Taskforce on Cholera Control from 2017-2021.
