Sarah Morrow
- NIHR Doctoral Fellow and Dermatology Specialist Registrar, University of Oxford
My research focuses upon how to embed dietary and weight-management support into routine dermatology clinics, with a particular emphasis upon chronic inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis. I am interested in how to translate existing research findings into interventions for patients attending busy, real-world outpatient clinics. My planned PhD will address this through qualitative interview studies with patients and clinicians, co-development of an intervention, and a feasibility study.
My doctoral research will be completed in the Health Behaviours Team under the joint supervision of Prof. Susan Jebb, Dr. Jadine Scragg, Dr. Rachael Drewery and Prof. Chris Griffiths (King's College London). I have been awarded an NIHR Doctoral Fellowship.
I completed my BA (Medical Sciences) and BM BCh (Medicine and Surgery) at the University of Oxford. I am now a senior dermatology specialist registrar, working at Oxford University Hospitals.
I also hold a Masters in Applied Human Nutrition and am a registered nutritionist.
