Katara Presents Poetry Evenings Within Katara International Arabian Horse Festival

Doha, Qatar: The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) presented a rich cultural and artistic program as part of the Katara International Arabian Horse Festival 2026. Poetry evenings highlighted the symbolic and aesthetic significance of horses in the Arab consciousness, embodying their deep-rooted presence in literature and human values through diverse creative readings that celebrated this icon of horsemanship and beauty.

Katara Corniche hosted an evening, featuring talented students Noura Sultan Al Khayarin, Aisha Mubarak Jassim, and Qamar Saleh Mejegheer. Their poems painted an artistic portrait of the Arabian horse as a symbol of dignity and an embodiment of the values of courage and pride in authentic heritage.

Katara General Manager and Chairman of the Festival's Organizing Committee Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti honored the participants in the poetry events in recognition of their creative contributions and their prominent role in enriching the cultural scene accompanying the festival. Through this recognition, he emphasized the Foundation's ongoing support for talents that perpetuate authentic Arab heritage.
