Second Round Of Trilateral Talks On Ukraine Crisis Kicks Off In Abu Dhabi
After a similar first round of negotiations in the emirate late last month, the Kremlin said the talks between Russian and Ukrainia negotiators had been held in a "constructive spirit" but that there was still "significant work ahead". Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky also stated that during the Abu Dhabi meeting, "a lot was discussed, and it is important that the conversations were constructive."

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed its hope that this round will contribute to building on what was achieved during the first round and its support of progress towards broader understandings.
Commending on the keenness of the parties concerned with the diplomatic track, the Ministry stressed that the UAE's hosting of this round reflects its solid and balanced relations with the three parties, and international confidence in its role in facilitating dialogue and providing a supportive environment for the constructive talks led by US President Donald Trump.
