Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison Picks New Head Of Corporate Comms

JAKARTA - Indonesian telecommunications company Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison (Indosat) has picked Ovidia Nomia as its new senior vice president, head of corporate communications. This appointment reflects Indosat's focus on strengthening corporate communications as a strategic function to support the company's transformation into an AI-driven organization, build trust, and maintain clarity of purpose amid a rapidly evolving industry landscape, it said.
In her role, Nomia will lead Indosat's corporate communications strategy, working closely with the leadership team to translate business priorities, the company's AI agenda, and key transformation milestones into clear, consistent, and credible narratives for stakeholders. At the helm of corporate communications, she will provide strategic leadership on trust, reputation, and narrative.
Nomia brings more than 17 years of leadership experience in brand and corporate communications across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. She has led multi-market communications for large, complex organizations, including managing reputation and crisis communications for Procter & Gamble. She joined the firm in 2018 as its senior communications management and rose quickly to become its marketing communications director in 2024.
Her experience is marked by an ability to align communications with business strategy and deliver well-calibrated responses in high-stakes situations.
