Crown Prince Hussein holds talks with UNHCR chief
(MENAFN) HRH Crown Prince Hussein met with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Barham Salih on Wednesday during the World Economic Forum in Davos, a Royal Court statement said.
The Crown Prince congratulated Salih on his election last year as UN High Commissioner for Refugees and wished him success in his term. The discussion focused on strengthening cooperation between Jordan and the UNHCR to ensure the continued delivery of services to refugees.
Officials also highlighted the importance of the international community supporting countries hosting refugees, enabling them to provide essential assistance and services to displaced populations.
The meeting was attended by Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Zeina Toukan, Minister of Investment Tareq Abu Ghazaleh, and Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain.
