Migration Turns Tragic: Tirah Family Loses Three Lives In Road Accident
A tragic accident occurred involving a vehicle carrying a family that was migrating from the Tirah area of Khyber District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, towards Bara. As a result of the accident, three people died on the spot, while one person was critically injured.
According to local sources, a truck coming from the Maidan area of Tirah Valley overturned at the Mangul Bagh Khandao location. Those who lost their lives in the accident include Muhammad Shah son of Aul Badshah, his son, while the identity of another deceased person has yet to be confirmed. The deceased belonged to the Shalobar tribe and were residents of Pir Mela.
The accident occurred while the affected family was moving towards safer locations. The injured person was immediately shifted to Painda Cheena, where doctors have described his condition as critical.
Following the incident, an atmosphere of mourning prevailed in the area, and local residents have demanded immediate assistance for the affected family and better medical facilities for the injured.
It is worth mentioning that the process of migration from the Maidan area of Tirah Valley is ongoing. According to the district administration, more than 5,000 families have so far migrated from Tirah Valley.
For the displaced families, the Khyber district administration has completed comprehensive arrangements for registration, NADRA biometric verification, and provision of basic facilities, while the formal registration process is expected to begin within the next one to two days.
