Rajasthan To Host Regional AI Impact Conference 2026 In Jaipur On January 6
The conference is intended to serve as a regional platform to examine the role of artificial intelligence in governance reform, economic growth, innovation and inclusive development.
The event is expected to be attended by senior leadership from the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan.
According to the organisers, the conference will feature key announcements and the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening Rajasthan's artificial intelligence ecosystem, promoting innovation and accelerating AI adoption across priority sectors.
The agenda includes high-level discussions on AI applications in public service delivery and governance, ethical and responsible AI, the implications of AI for employment and skills, and the development of the state's AI startup and innovation ecosystem.
Sessions will also explore advanced use cases such as digital twins and AI-enabled infrastructure planning, as well as broader strategic questions on whether AI can support India's transition from an outsourcing-led model to one focused on intellectual property creation.
Experts will also examine global, national and regional AI strategies, with academic perspectives contributed by IIT Jodhpur, focusing on the role of research institutions in developing locally relevant and globally competitive AI solutions.
The conference is being held alongside Rajasthan DigiFest × TiE Global Summit 2026 and reflects the state's efforts to position itself as a centre for digital innovation and emerging technologies. The Regional AI Impact Conference is part of a series of regional engagements feeding into the India AI Impact Summit 2026, aimed at linking regional initiatives with India's broader AI policy and leadership objectives.
