Military Intercepts Shahed Drone Equipped With Man-Portable Air Defense System
(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, the Unmanned Systems Forces reported this on Facebook.
"Fighters of the Darknode Battalion of the 412th Nemesis Brigade intercepted a Russian Shahed equipped with a man-portable air defense system. This enemy UAV was also fitted with a radio modem and a camera, enabling control of the drone from the territory of the Russian Federation and the launch of a missile," the Unmanned Systems Forces said.
The Darknode Battalion crew managed to shoot down the Shahed, which posed a threat to Ukraine's aviation.
