South Korea, China Leaders To Talk Economic Cooperation, Korean Peninsula Peace Next Week
South Korea's National Security Advisor, Wiآ Sung-lak, said the leaders would explore practical collaboration across multiple sectors, including supply chain investment, the digital economy, environmental and climate initiatives, tourism, and cross-border crime prevention.
"We share a common goal of achieving peace and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in Northeast Asia," he added.
North Korea is expected to be a central topic on the summit agenda, as Seoul seeks to build momentum for dialogue with Pyongyang.
The planned visit comes less than two months after President Xi's first trip to South Korea in 11 years, which coincided with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Gyeongju.
