According to an order, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate Kokernag said that inputs from police and security agencies indicated security vulnerabilities in certain high-altitude and forested areas falling under Sub-Division Kokernag.

He said that unrestricted movement and outdoor activities in these sensitive areas could adversely affect public safety and security. The order will remain valid for two months unless withdrawn or extended.
ADVERTISEMENTThe Station House Officer Larnoo has been directed to ensure strict implementation of the order and regulate movement at all checkpoints, while the general public has been strictly advised to comply, with authorities warning that any violation will invite action under law.
