UAE: Asian Expat Returns Sum Of Money To Police, Honoured For His Integrity

The UAE has once again witnessed an example of integrity and honesty as an Asian expat in Abu Dhabi returned a sum of money he found to the police and was honoured for his selfless deed.

The police force in the Capital shared a photo of the expat with officers as Brigadier Dr Hamad Abdullah Al Niyadi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate at the Criminal Security Sector, presents him with a gift in appreciation of his responsible initiative and commendable honesty in cooperating with the authorities.

Upon finding the cash-an amount not specified by Abu Dhabi Police-the man handed it over to the Capital Police Directorate (Khalidiya Police Station).

The honoree expressed his thanks and appreciation to the directorate, praising the role of Abu Dhabi Police and its continuous efforts to encourage the public to engage in effective, positive cooperation.

In the UAE, residents are often honoured in recognition of their efforts. Last year, an Asian man returned a sum of mone that he found in Abu Dhabi to the police and was also honoured and gifted with a present.

In November, Ajman Police had also honoured a young gir for her honesty after she returned a sum of money that she found in a public place.
