Jahra Cultural Season Continues Heritage, Arts Events At Red Palace

KUWAIT, Dec 27 (KUNA) -- The second Jahra Cultural Season is continuing its heritage and activities at the Red Palace, under the patronage of Minister of Information and Culture Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, in cooperation with Jahra Governorate.
Assistant Secretary General for Antiquities and Museums at the National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) Mohammad bin Redha told KUNA on Saturday that the season forms part of the council's efforts to strengthen cultural life across Kuwait's governorates.
He stated the initiative reflects NCCAL's commitment to promoting cultural awareness, strengthening national identity and showcasing the rich heritage of Jahra as a key landmark in Kuwait's history.
He noted the participation of EXPO 965, a team specialized in heritage and handicrafts exhibitions, composed of Kuwaiti creatives who are permanent members of the World Crafts Council (WCC).
He highlighted that the program includes interactive workshops for children and a range of art and heritage exhibitions catering to everyone.
He explained that the events have attracted diplomatic attendance, with several ambassadors participating, saying that activities are held daily from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., from Thursday to Saturday each week, at the Red Palace in Jahra Governorate, stressing that the events are open to the public.
