Pakistani Youth's UK Dream Ends In Tragedy: Only Son Amin-Ul-Haq Drowns In Lancashire River
- Haq, belonging to Malakand district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, lost his life in an accident in the Lancashire area of the United Kingdom.
According to reports, Amin was attempting to cross a river along with his student friends when he drowned midway, while the other companions remained safe.
Amin was the only son of his parents and had come to the UK on a work visa with dreams of a better future.
According to his family, they made significant financial sacrifices to send him abroad, even selling a plot worth approximately 5 million rupees.
Local police stated that Amin had been missing and his body was recovered from a river in Lancashire two days later. Police said that initial investigations found no evidence of any suspicious activity; however, the sudden tragedy has plunged the family, friends, and the Pakistani community into deep grief.
Amin's family has demanded further investigation from Greater Manchester Police. His parents said they have lost their only support, their sole hope, and a strong pillar of their future.
