Lakki Marwat Operation: Police And Locals Eliminate 6 Militants

In Lakki Marwat's Takhti Khel area, a clash took place between the public, police peace committees, and terrorists. As a result of the exchange of fire, one civilian was martyred and 18 people were injured.
According to the police, six bodies of terrorists were found during a search operation. Later, police from Lakki Marwat and Bannu also joined the operation. In the joint and intensive operation by local peace committees, CTD, and police, a total of six terrorists were killed, while several others are reported to have been injured.
The terrorists targeted civilian areas repeatedly using drones, which resulted in injuries to several civilians.
Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, praised the Bannu Region Police and CTD for the successful operation and stated that efforts would be further intensified to protect the lives and property of the public and to maintain peace in the region.
