(MENAFN- Amman Net) The head coach of Jordan's national football team, Jamal Sellami, stated that he has a football project in Jordan, saying,“I have a project in Jordan, and when I feel it has been accomplished, I will request to leave.”

Sellami also conveyed the words of the Crown Prince, noting,“His Majesty King Abdullah II will grant me Jordanian citizenship.”

He praised the team's performance in the final, acknowledging that while the ambition was to achieve a better result, the players demonstrated high spirit and an outstanding level on the pitch.

Speaking after the FIFA Arab Cup 2025 final, Sellami emphasized that the Jordanian people and football fans are proud of the dedication and fighting spirit shown by the players throughout the tournament, noting that every member of the squad gave their best.

He concluded by stressing that the coaching and administrative staff, along with the players, look forward to building on this achievement and delivering even stronger performances in future competitions.
