Starbucks Offers A High-Paying Pilot Job

(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor)

Dhaka: Starbucks is advertising a high-paying role far removed from its coffee shops: a corporate pilot position flying the company's jet, with annual pay exceeding $360,000, according to a job posting.

The pilot would be responsible for transporting senior executives, including Chief Executive Laxman Narasimhan, on business travel across the United States and to international destinations.

The role involves comprehensive flight planning, ensuring the safety and comfort of passengers, complying with aviation regulations and assisting with luggage and other logistical needs.

Applicants are required to meet rigorous qualifications. These include at least 5,000 total logged flight hours, a minimum of five years of experience serving as a corporate captain, an airline transport pilot licence and top-level medical certification.

Candidates must also demonstrate strong operational judgment and the ability to handle high-level executive travel.

The position underscores the breadth of roles within the global coffee chain, offering a stark contrast to jobs typically associated with Starbucks' retail operations behind the espresso bar.
