Anti-Ukrainian Narratives Intensify In Poland Since August CCD

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) According to Ukrinform, this was reported on Facebook by the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council.

“An intensification of anti-Ukrainian messages has been recorded in Poland's information space,” the statement said.

According to a report by the Demagog Association and the Media Monitoring Institute, 185,766 anti-Ukrainian messages were recorded in the Polish-language segment of social media from August to November 2025 – almost twice as many as during the previous comparable period.

These were posts containing offensive, vulgar, and discriminatory statements against Ukraine and Ukrainians.

The analysis covered platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

The largest number of anti-Ukrainian posts was recorded on X, where they accounted for more than 92% of the total volume and generated about 61% of user interactions with such content.

Between August and November, there were clear spikes in anti-Ukrainian narrative activity linked to specific events. These included, for example, the Polish president's veto of a law on assistance to Ukraine, violations of Polish airspace by Russian drones, and a railway sabotage incident on the Warsaw-Lublin route.

The report emphasizes that although the motivations of the authors of anti-Ukrainian messages remain unknown, such propaganda waves coincide with the objectives of Russia's information strategy aimed at weakening partner support for Ukraine and undermining trust among allies.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, 325 information attacks by Russia and Belarus were recorded in Lithuania in November.
