- Associate Lecturer in English Literature, The Open University
Dr Naomi Walker is an Associate Lecturer at the Open University. She has published widely on the two Shropshire women writers, Mary Cholmondeley (1859-1925) and Mary Webb (1881-1927), and looked at how their work informed the wider literary culture of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. She has used G.I.S. (Geographical Information Systems) to plot both their life and work within the Shropshire landscape.
