SITL 2026 Flagship Competitions Open For Applications
(MENAFN- ForPressRelease)
The International Transport and Logistics Exhibition (SITL) will make its highly anticipated return to Paris Nord Villepinte from March 31 to April 2, 2026, under the theme 'New Territories to Conquer.' As one of Europe's leading events for logistics and supply chain professionals, SITL continues to serve as a hub for innovation, collaboration, and strategic growth in a rapidly evolving industry.
Innovation at the Core of SITL
Two flagship competitions - the Innovation Awards by SITL and the Start-up Contest by SITL, organized in partnership with SprintProject - are now open for applications. These initiatives aim to spotlight breakthrough solutions transforming the transport and logistics ecosystem. Participants gain media visibility, access to strategic networks including investors and major accounts, and sector recognition that sets the benchmark for excellence.
In 2025, SITL received 72 submissions, marking a 33% increase compared to 2024, with 31% of entries coming from international companies. This growth underscores SITL's position as a premier European platform for logistics innovation and cross-border collaboration.
Why Innovation Matters
The logistics sector is undergoing unprecedented change, driven by a surge in digitalization investments, projected to exceed USD 67 billion globally in 2025. Emerging technologies ' such as connected systems, automation, and low-carbon solutions - are reshaping operational models. Start-ups, with their agility and creativity, are at the forefront of this transformation, offering sustainable answers to challenges like decarbonization, geopolitical uncertainty, and performance optimization.
A Major Evolution in 2026
For the first time, the Start-up Contest by SITL is open to all young companies, whether exhibiting or not. This inclusive approach ensures a richer showcase of innovations and gives non-exhibiting start-ups the chance to participate in a major international trade show. Selected start-ups will pitch their solutions on April 1, 2026, before a jury of industry leaders in logistics, retail, and innovation.
Two awards will be presented:
Start-up Award for an exhibiting start-up
Pepite Award for a non-exhibiting start-up
Eligibility criteria include being less than five years old, majority founder-owned, with at least three team members, and presenting an innovation launched within the past six months supported by a prototype or demonstrator.
The Innovation Awards: Recognizing Excellence
Alongside the Start-up Contest, the Innovation Awards by SITL remain a cornerstone event, honoring high-impact projects across five categories:
Operations (logistics providers and carriers)
Intralogistics, automation, and robotics
Infrastructure, real estate, and territories
Logistics services and solutions
Innovative HR policy and employer attractiveness
Entries will be evaluated by an expanded jury of experts from industry, academia, and public institutions, based on technical performance, user benefits, environmental impact, and societal contribution. Past winners include Mediterranean Shipping Company France, STILL, Sealed Air Corporation, and Dexory, showcasing the diversity of innovations recognized.
A Platform for Collaboration
SITL 2026 aims to foster openness and cooperation, strengthening ties with incubators and innovation ecosystems to accelerate high-impact initiatives. As Laurence Gaborieau, Director of the Transport & Logistics Division at RX France, emphasizes:
"Innovation is the key to addressing the challenges facing transport and logistics. By opening the Start-up Contest to the entire ecosystem, we aim to uncover European gems and make SITL a true accelerator of cross-border cooperation and innovation."
SprintProject CEO Fabien Esnoult adds:
"For eight years, SprintProject has proudly supported the Start-up Contest and Innovation Awards. This opening to the entire innovation ecosystem reflects our mission: to identify, analyze, and promote solutions shaping a more efficient, resilient, and sustainable global supply chain."
