'Words Of Gold': Dubai Ruler Congratulates Organisers Of Eid Al Etihad Show
As the UAE celebrates 54 years of its union, Rulers of all seven emirates gathered to commemorate the day at Zayed National Museum in Abu Dhabi.
The event featured rare, archival footage of Sheikh Zayed and of the nation before it became as we know it today. Aside from that, multiple performances commemorated the nation, with the National Orchestra performing the UAE national anthem.

“Paragraphs filled with pride... words of gold... the story of a nation shaped by Zayed and his brothers. It was the Union Day celebration," he said in a congratulatory post.
The Ruler added that he is proud of the nation, "confident" in the country's journey and "grateful to the founders of our nation".
In the post, he also thanked "the team behind this exceptional celebration" which is led by Sheikha Mariam bint Mohamed bin Zayed, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Salama bint Hamdan Al Nahyan Foundation and daughter of the UAE President.
