William Yat Wai Lo
- Associate Professor in Intercultural and International Education, Durham University
I am a researcher in international and comparative higher education, specialising in university governance, student activism, and the politics of internationalisation in Hong Kong and East Asia. My work examines how global mobility and shifting state–university relations shape institutional practices, academic culture, and forms of student engagement. I also explore how political tensions influence shared governance and the evolving roles of students within university decision-making.
Experience- 2023–present Associate professor, School of Education, Durham University
- 2012 University of Bristol, PhD in Social Policy
